Far Far West Codes: The Real List, the Dead Ones, and the Fakes

Every codes page claims thirty working strings. The game has issued eight, seven are closed, and the redemption NPC is a ghost most players walk past. Here is the version with dates.

Last updated:

Short answer: no confirmed working code

As of October 28, 2026 there is no Far Far West code for gold, Souls, or a skin that we can confirm works on the current build (0.3.0.7). The redemption NPC is real, the history is real, and one blueprint code is still floating around unverified.

Every "Far Far West codes" page opens with thirty codes and a badge claiming it was updated today. Only eight codes have ever had a date attached to them. Seven are closed, and the eighth gives blueprints, not the Pumpkin Jack skin you searched for.

So read the date on every list, including this one.

What actually works right now

Nothing confirmed.

The only code still printed anywhere is THESADLYLOSTBLUEPRINTS, a 15 Blueprint grant added on August 27, 2026 to compensate for a blueprint conversion error in patch 0.2.0.2. The community wiki lists it as current with no end date. A tracker that rechecked on October 11 had already moved it to expired.

We could not confirm it redeems on 0.3.0.7. It costs twenty seconds at the ghost, and blueprints do buy weapons and, from Q1 2027, weapon skins — but not the haul the search results promised. For the rest of your currency, see /weapons/weapon-upgrades-guide and /bounties/bounty-types.

What we can confirm is that the code box still works. The October 22 patch notes carry a "Promo Codes" section fixing it: held keys register, paste works, Tab no longer breaks the screen, Enter confirms. Studios do not patch a screen nobody uses. The version trail is on /guide/patch-notes.

Where the code box is

It is not in settings or on a website. It is an NPC, which is why half the player base never finds it.

From the Saloon, walk toward the shooting range behind the Gunsmith, take the stairs, and climb to the plateau. The Code Whisperer — a ghostly hunter in a hut — offers a "Whisper a code…" prompt. Paste the string, confirm, and the reward lands once per account. The hub layout is covered in /guide/far-far-west-beginner-guide.

A page telling you to "redeem at the official code site" describes a page that does not exist. Anyone asking for your Steam login is asking for your account; the game never needs it.

The full code history

Eight dated codes. The demo and playtest builds also produced a dozen joke strings — slopmancy, vo0odo0o, nukemeplz — all dead, and all still filling fake lists.

Read the third column: six of the seven closed codes lived between five days and six weeks. The system fires when something happens — a milestone, a convention, a devlog, a bug — then stops. Read the second column too: gold, Souls, XP tickets, blueprints. Exactly one skin was ever handed out by code, for five days in April. Ticket values are on /guide/xp-tickets.

The Pumpkin Jack code, and the bundle that is not one

The skin code was PUMPKINJACKMESENPAI, live April 20–25, 2026, before Early Access. It is dead; every list still printing it is archived or careless.

The skin is not gone. It is one of three character skins in the Fear Fear West event, bought with Haunted Candles between October 22 and November 12, 2026, on Far West, Area 41, and Redwood — the last mapped on /zones/redwood-map. Afterward, the developers say event cosmetics are not vaulted, just repriced at a much higher gold cost. Full breakdown on /unlockables/skins.

The other trap is naming. The "Far Far West x Pumpkin Jack" bundle on Steam pairs this game with the unrelated platformer Pumpkin Jack: two games, no cosmetic, and no pumpkin on your robot.

How official promos actually reach you

Five channels, five different jobs.

The Discord detail inverts the usual advice. At launch the official FAQ answered code requests with a flat "there are no promo codes right now, please don't ask in general chat." The server announces codes first; it does not archive them.

Five ways to tell a fake list

  1. It cannot cite the announcement. Every real code traces to a Steam post, devlog, or Discord announcement with a date. No source, no date, invented.
  2. It promises skins. Codes have paid out gold, Souls, XP, and blueprints. One skin, five days, April 2026. "Free skin codes" in October describes a category that does not exist.
  3. It sends you off-platform. Redemption is one ghost in one hut. A site that redeems for you, or wants your Steam login, is harvesting credentials.
  4. Nothing on it has expired. Real code pages accumulate tombstones. Thirty "working" codes with no expiry column is a content farm, and the same thirty appear everywhere for months.
  5. The details fail arithmetic. One list carries a "third anniversary" code for a game that entered Early Access in April 2026; another rates a joke string at 3% success.

Claims vs. reality

What the internet saysWhat is true
"30+ working codes"Eight have ever existed; seven are closed
"Pumpkin Jack skin code still works"Live April 20–25, 2026 only; the skin is an event reward now
"Redeem on the official code website"No web redemption exists; the Code Whisperer is in-game
"The Pumpkin Jack bundle includes the skin"It is a two-game bundle with no cosmetic
"Sign in with Steam to claim your code"Phishing; redemption never touches your Steam account
"New codes every week"Codes follow milestones, conventions, patches, and devlogs

When this gets rechecked

Last verified October 28, 2026 against build 0.3.0.7, the Steam news feed, and the community wiki's code table.

The next check is a trigger, not a date: a new Steam post or devlog, any version bump past 0.3.0.7, the close of Fear Fear West on November 12, or the Q1 2027 roadmap window. Each is a moment when a code could appear — and if one does, it will last five days to six weeks before the tombstone.

The short version

The redemption ghost is real, the codes were real, and today's answer is nothing. One blueprint code may still work. Pumpkin Jack is a Halloween reward now, and the bundle named after it contains a different game.

Are there any working Far Far West codes right now?

No confirmed one. The last listed code, THESADLYLOSTBLUEPRINTS, grants 15 Blueprints and has no published end date, but one tracker moved it to expired in October 2026 and we could not verify it.

How long do Far Far West codes last?

Of the seven closed codes, the shortest window was five days and the longest about six weeks. Each was tied to a milestone, a convention, a patch, or a devlog.

Can I still get the Pumpkin Jack skin with a code?

No. PUMPKINJACKMESENPAI closed on April 25, 2026. The skin is bought with Haunted Candles during the Fear Fear West event, October 22 to November 12, 2026, and returns at a higher gold price after.

Is there a Far Far West code redemption website?

No. Redemption is in-game only, at the Code Whisperer above the shooting range. Any site offering to redeem for you, or asking for your Steam login, is lying.

Does the Far Far West x Pumpkin Jack bundle include the skin?

No. It is a Steam bundle containing two separate games, Far Far West and the platformer Pumpkin Jack. Nothing in it unlocks a cosmetic.

Where do new codes get posted first?

On the Steam news feed and devlogs, where every milestone code so far has appeared, with the official Discord announcing around them. The /unlockables hub keeps the surrounding reward systems straight.
